What does thin-wall packaging production require?

Thin walls cool faster than they fill, so the machine must deliver a fast, repeatable injection cycle. JSW all-electric machines provide exactly that, with 0.01 mm precision and low energy use — important at high volume. Why are drying and dosing decisive?

Color and mechanical consistency depend on material preparation. Plastic Systems gravimetric dosers accurately blend masterbatch and additives, while dryers prepare hygroscopic polymers. PET is dried to a dew point around -60°C before processing; too high a dew point leaves moisture that causes bubbles and streaks, which we cover in Dryer dew point too high.

Why does granulate drying matter for packaging, especially PET?

Hygroscopic polymers like PET absorb moisture that causes bubbles, streaks and loss of mechanical properties when melted. PET is dried to a low dew point (around -60°C) before processing, so a correctly sized dryer directly reduces scrap.
