Tool-Temp
Tool-Temp AG is a Swiss manufacturer of temperature control and cooling equipment, founded in 1973. A second-generation family business, it produces every unit at its own plant in Sulgen in the canton of Thurgau, including the key components — which gives it direct control over quality and over long-term spare parts availability.
What Tool-Temp manufactures
- Universal temperature control units — water and oil — up to 90 °C
- Water temperature control units — open and closed circuit — up to 90 °C
- Pressurised water temperature control units — closed circuit — up to 160 °C
- Oil temperature control units — up to 360 °C
- Process thermostats and cooling units for industrial processes
Why a Tool-Temp unit
Mold temperature is the process parameter with the most direct effect on dimensional stability, shrinkage and surface appearance. Tool-Temp approaches it from the reliability side: a unit running three shifts has to hold its setpoint unattended, and be quick to service when it does need attention.
- More than 60 standard models for water, pressurised water and oil — a custom solution is rarely needed
- Operating range up to 360 °C, covering plastics processing as well as metal casting, rubber, printing, laminating, chemical and food production
- Key components made in house, which means spare parts remain available for older units
- Logical operation and simple maintenance — designed so your own maintenance team can service them, not only a specialist crew
- Swiss production of roughly 9,000 units a year with consistent series quality
Tool-Temp in Serbia and the region
Perotec Systems is the authorized representative for Tool-Temp in Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia and Montenegro.
For every project we first size the unit against the actual thermal load of the mold and the target temperature, not against the size of the machine — an incorrectly sized unit either cannot remove the heat, or short-cycles and consumes more than it should. After delivery we handle installation, connection to the cooling circuit, training and service, including units already installed in your plant.

What does Tool-Temp manufacture?
Tool-Temp manufactures temperature control units for water (open and closed circuit, up to 90 °C), pressurised water (closed circuit, up to 160 °C) and oil (up to 360 °C), universal units for both media, process thermostats and cooling units.
When do you need an oil unit rather than a water unit?
Water transfers heat more efficiently and costs less, but above 160 °C it requires a high-pressure system. For processes above that threshold — technical parts with high mold temperatures, rubber, composites — an oil unit is used, working up to 360 °C without system pressure.
What is the difference between a temperature control unit and a chiller?
A temperature control unit holds the mold at a set temperature, usually above ambient, by heating and controlled heat removal. A chiller produces a cold medium and removes heat from the process. In a typical molding line they work together: the chiller supplies chilled water and the temperature control unit uses it to hold the mold precisely.
How much does mold temperature affect part quality?
Decisively. Unstable mold temperature produces shrinkage variation between parts, warping, sink marks and changes in surface gloss. On technical and thin-wall parts a deviation of a few degrees is enough to put the part out of tolerance.
Who services Tool-Temp units in Serbia?
Perotec Systems, as the authorized representative. The units are built to be easy to service, and original spare parts come directly from the factory in Sulgen.
